Delete photos by date range

The thing the stock Gallery still will not do when the phone is full.

Pick a range. Preview the set. Then move it to Trash, or delete it forever and take the space back. Files stay on the phone. Nothing is uploaded.

How it works

  1. Choose older than a date, or between two dates.
  2. Preview thumbnails. Deselect anything you want to keep.
  3. Move to Trash for about 30 days, or delete forever to free space now.

On this phone only. ImageSweep reads dates from your library, shows a preview, and uses Android’s own Trash and delete sheets. There is no account, no cloud album, and no analytics in the app.

ImageSweep is an Android app from LD Tools. A public listing is on the way. Package name: com.ldtech.imagesweep.

Until then, testers install from a Google Play closed test. Use the signup page — you do not need to send a Facebook message.
